
Tuna Pase
Fortuna is a music lover, musician, ethnomusicologist, and music educator based in Barcelona. Her areas of interest are; electro-acoustic composition, free improvisation, and sound design. She has degrees in musicology, ethnomusicology, and sound design. She plays electronics, flute, and sings. She performs her music solo and also collaborates with others in an improvised manner, where she composes live, using the elements that build her music from scratch. She performs in concerts, festivals and participates in projects in Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. She collaborates with other free improvisers, visual artists, and dancers from many countries. She has solo and collaborative albums. She has been teaching several subjects in music and sound in several universities and international schools to adults and kids. She loves inspiring people through music and sound. She is also a member of many “female music technology networks” such as female pressure, FLO and Beats by Girlz. She is the initiator and the lecturer of Beats by Girlz Spain.
