Hello, my name is Magdalena Ávalos, I am feminist, graduated in International Relations from the Francisco Gavidia University of El Salvador, with a postgraduate degree in Corporate Communication and Advertising from the Complutense University of Madrid. Through the last 15 years I have had extensive training in women's rights. I managed to do my university studies thanks to Muchas Más. Since 2018 I am Muchas Más general coordinator in El Salvador. I grew up in a rural community in El Salvador where the majority of girls, adolescents and young women do not have access to education and too frequently face gender violence. It was from my personal experience that I decided to dedicate myself to work with young women from contexts of vulnerability and social exclusion, so that, like me, they have the possibility of putting a stop to gender violence and building their own life projects. I am very happy to be part of this team and to use music and technology as an innovative tool for young women in my country to reflect on their rights and empower themselves.
